Nikyu (2nd kyu) — Brown Belt Requirements
Nikyu is the fifth senior rank in USJA judo (brown belt). Candidates must be 14+ with 11 months / 88 classes at their current rank, then pass a written and technical exam.
The exam is cumulative: Nikyu candidates are also responsible for everything from Rokkyu, Gokyu, Yonkyu, Sankyu.
